My name is Gwenyth Harrington, and I am a graduate with a B.A. in English Literature and a minor in Linguistics. Created as part of my Undergraduate Student Ambassador Project, this website explores the creative possibilities of poetry transcription and artistic reinterpretation through the poetry of Elizabeth Bishop. Engaging with themes of travel, grief, and nature, the project combines literary analysis with creative practice, culminating in a public broadside, a curated portfolio, and a collaborative seminar designed to foster reflection, creativity, and cross-cultural dialogue.
Inspired by my passion for travel, literature, and storytelling, this project seeks to make poetry more accessible and meaningful for contemporary audiences. Through creative engagement with literary texts, this website offers a space where poetry feels approachable and personal.
