About
Hi, I’m Gwenyth Harrington, an English Literature graduate from SUNY Geneseo with a minor in Linguistics. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Information Science with a concentration in Archives and Records Administration. My academic interests focus on poetry, literary analysis, archival research, and the preservation of historical texts. I’ve always been interested in how literature connects people across time, especially through poetry and language.
This website was created as part of my transcription and research work. Through this project, I hope to make historical and literary texts more accessible while exploring the deeper meaning, structure, and context behind them. Transcribing poetry has allowed me to engage closely with language and appreciate the detail and emotion preserved within each piece.
Alongside my academic and professional experiences, I’ve developed skills in writing, editing, education, and communication that strengthened my attention to detail and analytical approach. These experiences continue to shape the way I approach literary research and transcription work thoughtfully, carefully, and with an appreciation for storytelling and preservation.
I created this space not only to share my work, but also to encourage others to explore poetry and historical literature in a more personal and meaningful way. Thank you for visiting and taking the time to explore this project.
